AGAIN THIS YEAR!: The Kooper’s Crew Challenge!

Kooper’s Tavern is offering up a $150 bar tab to the largest team. We’ll announce the winning team at the Awards Ceremony, and then the post-post-race party is all yours just a few blocks away at Kooper’s Tavern!

Overall awards are calculated by gun time, and age group awards are calculated by net time. No double dipping.

STARTING CORRALS

The race will be split into 4 corrals (A, B, C, & D) to space runners out and give everyone a great racing experience. The letter on your race bib corresponds to your starting corral.

Placement in corrals is determined by the estimated pace you provided during registration. All runners should be in their corrals by 8:15 AM.

If you wish to run with a person who has been assigned a different corral, you may move back to a later corral, but not forward to an earlier position. Volunteers will be in place to help guide you to the correct corral on race day!

It is very important for the safety and flow of the race that you start with those running approximately the same pace as you. No one likes to zig zag through a crowd, especially when you are aiming for a PR. Those planning to walk during the race should start in Corral D.

The first corral will start the race at 8:30 AM, with subsequent corrals starting shortly after the previous corral heads out on course.

PACE GROUPS

Beast Pacing will help you hit your goal time without the trouble of monitoring your GPS all morning! Plus, what could be better than running with a group of people shooting for the same time goal as you? Just look for the pacer sign in your assigned corral and join the group. Pace groups available this year include:

7:00/mile, 7:30/mile, 8:00/mile, 8:30/mile, 9:00/mile, 9:30/mile, 10:00/mile, 10:30/mile, 11:00/mile, 11:30/mile, 12:00/mile 13:00/mile, 14:00/mile, and 15:00/mile
